AIshwarya Venkatesh – Bharatanatyam
On 04th June 2016 (saturday) at 6.30 PM: AIshwarya Venkatesh presented a very good dance recital at VDS. Her abhinaya is good, limb movements are fine and good footed. She is trained well by. sr. guru Meenakshi Chitaranjan.
Narthana ganapathim was good start. Subramanya kavithuvam was fine Revathi varnam was fine and exhibited Aishwaryas fervor for the art form, further the `kanakasabi thannil’ jathi interlude was a fine surprise. The mridangist added the flavour to the entire varnam. Dhikku theriyadha kaatil was a vocal & visuval treat. Both music and dance for Hari Thum Haro – her abhinaya in the enactment of the dice game between the kauravas and pandavas was very powerful. Shankarabharanam Thillana was mellifluous.
Vocal by Durga Venkatesh (mother of the dancer), Mridangam by Nagai Narayanan, flute by A.N. Srinivasan and violin by G.V. Rajan have rendered their fine support to dancer.
Silver screen personality Mr. Churchill Pandian praised the gurus effort and the dancer Aishwarya as cheif guest for the programme.
